The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the 1975 film adaptation of the British rock musical stageplay, The Rocky Horror Show, written by Richard O'Brien. The film is a parody of B-movie, science fiction and horror films of the late 1940s through early 1970s. Director Jim Sharman collaborated on the screenplay with O'Brien, who wrote both the book and lyrics for the stage.

In aanwezigheid van de regisseur tonen we deze markante film over een Turkse jongen die verliefd is op een Gents meisje. De twee ondervinden in hun relatie nogal wat tegenstand binnen hun families. Als de vader van de jongen sterft, trekt hij een tijdje naar Istanboel, waar zijn vader begraven wordt. Zijn vriendin reist hem na. De jongen realiseert na de dood van zijn vader ook diens droom: lid worden van een fanfare.

De geradicaliseerde Nazi-kinderen, geleid door Andreas Baader, Ulrike Meinhof en Gudrun Ensslin strijden een gewelddadige oorlog tegen het nieuwe fascisme: het Amerikaanse imperialisme. Bij het nastreven van hun idealen is voor hen elk middel gerechtvaardigd. Hierdoor veroorzaken ze niet alleen angst en bloedvergieten, maar dreigen ze ook hun eigen menselijkheid te verliezen.
